University of Plymouth, UK (UoP)

Established in 1992, the University of Plymouth is currently the fifth largest university in the UK located amongst the top three modern UK universities based on its research output. The Centre for Security, Communications, and Networks (CSCAN) within the School of Computing and Mathematics is one of the seven research centers established in the university, currently including 13 full-time members of staff and 40 postgraduate research students. CSCAN has been involved in research projects and has successful past and ongoing collaboration with a number of companies (France Telecom, Orange UK, Symantec, Kaspersky Lab, Vodafone) in the following areas: network and system security, improving network performance and security for IP-based networks, access security and intrusion detection for mobile and wireless devices, and content safeguards for networked communications.
